You can close (end-date) an asset record in two ways.

First, enable spatial editing and select the asset layer that you want to edit. On the map, click the asset that you want to close. Click the End-Date button on the radial menu next to the asset. An End Date dialog opens. The current date appears as the End-Date, but a different date can be selected if necessary.

Click End-Date. The dialog closes and the asset is end-dated.

Alternatively, you can also search for the asset to end date or select it from the map.

1. From either the Search Results or Selection Results dialogs, click the Details button to open the asset record.

   

2. Click the End-Date asset button. The End-Date dialog opens. By default, the current date appears as the end-date, but this can be changed if necessary. Once the date is set, click End-Date.

   

3. The dialog closes and a success message appears briefly onscreen. The asset is end-dated.
